Urf was an april fools joke that riot games put into the game. However, people still clamored for urf to be a playable character. So Riot games did the next best thing. You may notice that he has a spatula in his flipper and a fish in his belt. The spatula was supposed to symblize the manatee people's cooking knowledge, and the fish was to symbolize their home the ocean. They made an Urf the Manatee skin for warwick.

They put the skin out for only three days. In those three days, 15,000 players bought the skin. It was such a widely loved skin, they put all the proceeds from it to savethemanatee.com. Urf continues to be one of the most widely talked about champions even though he sadly never was.
This is the cutest manatee I have ever seen! No wonder everyone loves him- he is adorable. Do you have to purchase the skins with actual money, or do you buy them with fake money from the game?
